Evaluating your campaign involves looking back at what you have produced in order to work out what was successful and what you would do differently next time.

Watch Paul Steinberg talk about the importance of evaluating your campaign.

There are lots of different ways in which you can gather people’s feedback on your campaign.

  • Questionnaires
  • Online survey – shared via Facebook or Twitter
  • Survey Monkey
  • Talking to people – interviews

The questions you ask can affect the answers you will get so think carefully about how you organise your evaluation. Here are some hints:

  • Make sure you focus your evaluation on your target group.
  • Go back to the purpose of your campaign – did you achieve what you wanted?
  • Yes / No answers are helpful to work out statistics.
  • Try to find out specific information as well as yes/no answers

After you have completed and distributed your campaign, remember to revisit this page in order to conduct as full an evaluation as possible.
